VERNON L. CHAFFIN SR., 79, Passed away on May 14, 2013. Vernon was born on August 18, 1933 in Chillicothe, Ohio to Cary Jacob Chaffin and Ida May Hatfield. He is survived by son Vernon L. Chaffin Jr. Vernon was in the Airborn 82nd Infaitry. Mr. Chaffin will be buried in Dayton VA Cemetery at a later date.
