On October 11, 2013 God gave her wings and she went to heaven.
She was a devoted wife, a warm and caring mother
grandmother and great-grandmother
Preceded in death by her parents; Urlin and Marjorie Aiken
Her loving husband Lester W.Ferrell
Brother Daniel Aiken
She is survived by her 8 children; Ricky Aiken, Lester Tina Ferrell, Lela Ferrell Serg
Mellinda Ferrell Cerapio, Sharon David Stepp, Debbie Dan Orr, Mark Ferrell and Christy Ferrell
Sisters; Ruth Oglesby and Ester Polsley
Many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews
Visitation will be held Tuesday Oct.15, 6-8 pm at Edwards Funeral Services
1166 Parsons ave Funeral will be held Wednesday Oct.16 at 11am
Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetary
Weep not for me though I am gone into that gentle night. Grieve if you will, but not for long upon my soul's sweet flight. I am at peace, my soul's at rest There is no need for tears. For with your love I was so blessed. For all those many years. There is no pain, I suffer not, The fear now all is gone. Put now these things out of your thoughts, In your memory I live on. Remember not my fight for breath Remember not the strife. Please do not dwell upon my death, But celebrate my life.
