Valerie Kay Park
June 1, 1950 — March 15, 2014
Valerie Kay Park, 63, went to be with her Lord on March 15, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Valerie passed away at the Zusman Community Hospice at The Ohio State University Medical Center. Valerie was born in Streator, IL on June 1950 to Glenn S. Park and Adeline Park-Sipes. She graduated from Galion High School and Ohio University. Valerie was a very loving and caring mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. Her granddaughter, Lilly, was the apple of her eye. She worked at The Ohio State University for over 18 years and she worked at Michaels Crafts.
Valerie is survived by her two sons, Daniel Krystal Alicie and Alexander Rhonda Alicie; granddaughter, Lillian Lilly Alicie; mother, Adeline Park-Sipes Maurice Sipes; brother, Brian Karen Park; niece, Carrie Chad Craycraft; great nephews Matheu, Andrew, and Mason; as well as numerous cousins and close friends.
Her father Glenn S. Park and one brother, Jeff Park, preceded her in death.
Her Celebration of Life service will be held at Delaware City Vineyard, 425 S. Sandusky Street on March 29th, 2014 from 2pm – 6pm.
