Trula Arlene Newsome, 83, passed away on Friday, March 2, 2018 in Columbus, OH
Trula was born Monday, February 4, 1935 in Tazewell, VA
She is survived by her 2 children, Tammy Thomas and Daniel Newsome; 6 grandchildren, Ben Newsome, Jason Newsome, Jack Thomas II, Jay Thomas, Natalie Newsome, and Lisa Newsome-Durant; 9 great-grandchildren, Eli Newsome, Finn Newsome, Henry Newsome, and Grace May Newsome, Alec Thomas, Karson Thomas, Mina, Samantha, and Lino Newsome-Durant; along with 11 siblings some including, Earl, Roy, Jimmy, and Hubert Asbury
Trula is preceded in death by her parents Ray and Lakey Asbury, and her son William "Billy" Newsome
A funeral service will be held March 8, 2018 at Edwards Funeral Service Chapel, 1166 Parsons Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43206 at 1 PM where family will accept friends from 12 PM until time of service
