Timothy Pierce Patterson

Timothy Patterson, 64, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on November 23, 2025. He was the loving husband of Christine Patterson.

Born in Columbus, he was the son of Joe Patterson Jr. and Rebecca “Majors” Patterson. Timothy graduated from Central High School and built a long, distinguished career with the State of Ohio Department of Corrections, retiring as a Captain. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Army and the Ohio National Guard.

Timothy enjoyed the scenic riverfront, cheering for his Dallas Cowboys, and spending time with family and friends. He will be remembered for his style, kindness, unique sense of humor, and the care he always showed to the elderly.

He is survived by his loving wife  Christine Patterson children,  Damario Jackson, Ian Patterson (Sarah); Iris Patterson; and Ida Williams (Aaron); grandchildren, Mykel Jackson, Lajuan and Ivory Horton, Lauren and Roman Williams, and Nia and Liam Patterson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Patterson Jr.; mother, Rebecca “Majors” Patterson; sisters, Teresa and Ida Dale; brother, Joseph “Jody”; and brother-in-law, Michael Migitz.

Timothy leaves behind sisters Mary (Ed); Lydia; Myra; Rebecca (Michael); Stephanie (Dave); and Bobbie; his brothers, David (Regina) and Carl (Margaret); along with a host of beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews, as well as many friends  who will deeply miss him.
