THELMA JEFFRIES, 87, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday April 10, 2011
She was born September 2, 1923 in Logan, WV to the late Doc and Callie Mickens Johnson and had been a devoted member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church of the deaf.
Survived by daughters; Joyce O. Kearns, Carol A Samuels Michael, Sister, Cecelia Fuller and brother, Ernest Higgins. grandchildren; Casey Coleman Mecheli and Corinnee Nyangadzai, and two great grandchildren; Candice, and Caron.
She is Preceded in death by her husband; Solomon C. Jeffries, brothers; Paul Johnson, Leon Johnson, and Thomas Higgins, Sister, Mary Lee Johnson,
A homegoing service will be held 10 AM Saturday at Mount Hermon Missionary Baptist Church, 2283 Sunbury Road. Where family will receive friends from 9 AM
