Susan Ann Oltman, a cherished member of her family and community, passed away on January 20, 2026, at the age of 61 in Galloway. Born on June 2, 1964, in Columbus, Susan was known for her compassionate heart and her unwavering positivity.
A dedicated Home Health Aide, Susan poured her love and care into her work, always striving to make a difference in the lives of those she served. Her unwavering commitment to others was a testament to her kind nature and her desire to spread joy wherever she went.
Susan’s artistic talents shone through in her many hobbies and interests. She took great pleasure in drawing and completing crosswords, activities that allowed her to express her creativity and kept her spirit lively. Her heart of gold was evident in her interactions; she was always outgoing and made the most out of any situation.
One of her proudest moments was witnessing her son, Jeremy Bonner, graduate, a memory that encapsulates her role as a nurturing mother and an enthusiastic supporter of her family. Susan’s legacy is further carried on by her two sons, Jeremy Bonner (Alyssa) and Stevie Oltman, who continue to honor her memory by embodying the values she instilled in them.
She shared deep bonds with her family, including her niece Melissa Schirtzinger(Trapper), and her brothers David (Tina) Bonner, Richard Bonner, and Phillip Bonner, along with her sister Laura (Jeff) Fox. Susan was also a loving grandmother to Michael and Mackenzie, whose laughter and joy were a source of light in her life. She leaves to her cherished memories a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In addition to her immediate family, Susan will be remembered fondly by all who knew her and felt the warmth she brought into their lives. She is preceded in death by her son Michael Anthony Bonner and her beloved parents, Frank and Mary Bonner, and sister Mary Lou Bonner "Lou Bug".
Susan Ann Oltman’s vibrant spirit and unwavering love will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her legacy of kindness, creativity, and family devotion will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her.
