Shirley Jean Mullins

Shirley Jean Mullins, age 58, transitioned from this life on Thursday, October 31, 2013.

Shirley was born to Constance and Lonnie B. Mullins, II on October 21, 1955, in Pikeville, Kentucky. Shirley was the eldest of eight siblings. She grew up in Columbus, Ohio, where she raised six children.

Shirley enjoyed gardening, playing cards, and reading. She loved roses and always had plants and flowers around.

Shirley was preceded in death by maternal and paternal grandparents and her father, Lonnie B. Mullins, II. She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Constance; siblings: Kenneth Sue, Douglas Tonya, Lonnie, III, Gary, Kevin Barbara, Duane Christina, and Lisa Walker. She is survived by her sons: Mark Hope, Mahdee, and Omar "Nic"; and daughters: Reiko Caliman, Constance Blunt, and Nicole Blunt; grandchildren: India Williamson, William Caliman, Akeira Caliman, Jevohn Howse, and Keyiron Blunt; and a host of family and friends.

It is very gratifying to have expressions of love showered in a time of need. In the midst of God's peace and compassion, we extend our thanks and appreciation for all who have blessed us with expressed concern and sympathy in so many ways.
