Cooking was another passion, through which she expressed her affection and care, especially when nurturing her beloved sons. Above all, her greatest joy came from taking care of her sons, Aaron Wesley Harwood and Daniel Corbett. Her passion for caregiving was a defining part of her daily life.

Her family was central to her existence. She is lovingly remembered by her surviving sons, Aaron Wesley Harwood and Daniel Corbett, and her sister Helen .
