Sallie Mae Penn-Bankston was born Sallie Mae Penn to Lindsey and Pearlie Parker on April 12, 1934 in York, Alabama. She departed peacefully at home on January 25, 2021.

She was proceeded in death by husband, Sammie Penn; Parents, Lindsey and Pearlie Parker; Children, Rosalee Tucker, Donna Lee Black; and Brothers and Sisters, Hattie Kirkendoll, Eddie Rosemond, Ora Parker, T.J. Parker, JL Parker, and Lieutenant Parker.

She is survived by Daughter Margo (Nate) Terry; Sister, Virginia Huff; and a host of Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and foster children.
