Ron passed away on Sunday November 29 at his home after his fight of 5 years with cancer. Ron is survived by life partner of 28 years, Roy Elmore; sister Monica Roberts of Columbus; brothers Joe of Olmstead Falls and Chet of Maumee; step-mother Precy of Toledo. Ron leaves his two nephews - Keith of New Albany and Robert of Canal Winchester; three nieces, Patti, Natalie and Charlene of Ashland/Ontario Ohio. Also, Brother in law Rick Elmore and sister in law Becky Lewis. He is preceded in death by parents CJ and Mildred (Toledo), nieces Ronda and Gail; beloved two Dalmatians Walker and Brewster. Ron was an ace mechanic and worked at various shops in and around Toledo and Columbus. Ron was truly a motor head his entire life - Proud owner of records set at Detroit and Milan Dragway with his '68 Roadrunner - "The Dirty Bird". More recently at Norwalk and National Trailways with the infamous "Motown Missile" which he and his brother Joe completely restored to original muscle car status. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Franklin County Animal Shelter or Kindred Hospice of Gahanna.
