Rolando R.C. Crooks

Rolando "R.C. Crooks, Son of Virginia " Jinny" Galloway. Passed from this life on January, 16, 2026 at OSU Hospital in Columbus after an extended illness.  R.C. was a graduate of Martins Ferry H.S in Martins Ferry, Ohio. Class of 1987.  R.C. served 4 years in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged in 1993. He then served 4 years in the U.S. Naval Reserves until 1997.

R.C. was preceded in death by his Father: Albert (Sonny) Crooks Sr., Brothers: Elwin Wendell Crooks, and Albert (Chief) Crooks Jr. and Sister: Sheteila Renee Crooks. He is survived by his Mother, A brother: Alvin L. Crooks, Cousins M. Carl Smith Sr. and Yvette R. Robinson, Niece: Rakesheia Crooks and Nephew: Dawuan Mack.  R.C. Loved to go fish with his buddies. He also enjoyed cooking, eating and dancing. There will be time to say goodbye held at Families First Funeral Cremation and Burial at Edwards located at 1166 Parsons Ave Columbus, Ohio 43206 from 2pm to 3pm
