Roger Sam Moenk

Roger Sam Moenk, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on April 20, 2024. He was born on October 13, 1959. Roger dedicated 35 years of his life to the national beef packing company and also explored roles in coal mining and working on the railroad in his younger years.

Roger will be remembered for his caring nature and willingness to help anyone in need. Described as very loving and selfless, he touched the lives of many with his generosity and compassion. His hobbies included visiting the casino, where he found joy and relaxation.

Throughout his life, Roger found immense pride in his family. He lovingly raised his granddaughter Ashley who he was very proud of, on his own since she was 7 years old. He also cherished moments with his grandsons. One of his proudest achievements was being present at Ryan's wedding. Additionally, a memorable experience for him was accompanying Miles on a trip to Walt Disney World through the Make-A-Wish foundation. He always expressed how much he adored spending time with his grandchildren.

Roger is survived by his daughter, Dreama Kay Pearce-Imler (Cheyenne Drummond); granddaughter, Ashley Marie Jordan Pearce; grandsons Ryan Scott Pearce (Kennedy) and Samuel Miles Chauncey Pearce; brothers Randy Moenk (Diane), sisters; Jane DeMoss, Judy Tucker (Dan), Joan Mesch (Darren); and lifelong friends; Deb Peck, Jr. Northern, Roger Beam, Bill Saiter and numerous other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
 
 Roger is proceeded in death by his beloved wife, Donna Marie Moenk, brothers; Robert, Roy and Raymond Moenk, Son in law; Kristopher Lee Pearce, brother in law; Chuck DeMoss, and lifelong friends; Jim Peck and Dutch Clause
 
Roger Sam Moenk's presence touched many hearts during his time with us. His kindness and affection will be remembered forever as we carry on his legacy of love and compassion. May he rest in eternal peace knowing he made a significant impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.


In honoring Roger's legacy and cherishing the memories he left us with, a Celebration of Life event will be held on April 27, 2024, at Dreama's Home at 686 Bradwell Dr, Columbus, Ohio. The gathering will commence at 7:00 PM to commemorate a life well-lived and a soul deeply cherished.
