Richard was born on September 24, 1928 in Cleveland, Ohio to Joe Johnson and Irene Dennis.
Richard was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Hazel Torain Johnson and two Grandchildren and a great grandchild.
