Nancy A Carruthers

Nancy Carruthers, 79, passed away on May 6, 2024. Born in Columbus, Ohio, Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Milburn and Pauline Martin, daughter Cynthia Greenlee, granddaughter Shana Miller, and will be survived by her daughter Rene Miller, grandchildren Dewayne and Tearie Darrington, nieces Denice and Kenya Martin, nephew Derek Walton, special friend Sheila Williams, 6 great- great grandchildren, 1 great- great, great grandchild and host of other relatives. Nancy leaves many friends and loved ones who will miss her dearly.

Nancy always told the truth, even if it was not what you wanted to hear. Her extensive vocabulary was more than proficient at knowing more curse words than most people learned in a lifetime. Nancy loved music, westerns, playing cards, dancing, and talking about real life situations.

The funeral services will be held on May 14, 2024 at Families First (formally Edwards Funeral Home), 1166 Parsons Avenue, Columbus, OH 43206. Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm to the time of service.
