Michael Wilson Littlefield (Mike) passed away peacefully on Tuesday September 10, 2019 surrounded by loved ones. He was born on March 1, 1952 to the late Laura and Williard Littlefield, Sr. Mike grew up in the Milo-Grogran community and was the youngest of seven sons. He was a 1971 graduate of Central High School and was known for his sense of humor. He was a volunteer for the Eastside Tigers Little League Association for many years and was an avid football fan that often rooted on the New England Patriots. Mike also was a member of Just Us Jazz Club for several years and loved many genres of music. He was an excellent chef and loved to make people happy by the food that he cooked. One of his signature foods that he enjoyed preparing over the years was his fried turkey. He also enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Along with his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his brothers, Williard, Jr., Donald, and Wayne Littlefield; step-brother, Alfred Williams. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Deborah Littlefield; brothers’, Earl (Margaret), Wendell (Charlotte), and Dwight Littlefield; children, Akisha, Roshawn, Kym, John JC , Tynisha, and Monica Littlefield; step-children, Loren Colquitt, Robert Foster, Jr.; special children, Jewellyn Kubi, Manya and Tim Littlefield; close friends, Carolyn Littlefield, Geno Brown, Robert Foster, Sr., Mable Crawford, and Art Gooden; host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. A memorial service will be held 10AM Saturday 21, 2019 at Greater Faith Temple Apostolic, 1186 Oak Street.
