Martha was born May 14, 1949 in Louieville, Ky to Charles F. Merz Sr. and Anna Rose Hughes. She is survived by her sisters and brothers Charles Merz, Patricia Mertens, Ralph Merz, Marie Schofield, Joann Kline, and Greg Merz. She is preceded by both of her parents.
