Mark Allen Overly, 67, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2026. Born on April 22, 1959, in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of the late Ersie Jean and George P. Overly.

Mark is lovingly remembered by his loving partner, Stephanie Gossett, with whom he shared 20 years of love, companionship, and memories. He is also survived by his sisters, Tina Tanski and Melody (Chris) Wyatt, several nieces and nephews, and many dear friends and coworkers who will remember him fondly.

A proud U.S. Army veteran, Mark dedicated 38 years of service to Spectrum, where he built a legacy of hard work and dedication. Outside of work, he enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing his drums, and cheering on his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes.

Mark will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who shared in his life and the many years of companionship and friendship he gave so freely.

Arrangements are being handled by Families First Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring. Service details, including the date and time, will be announced at a later date. Family and friends are encouraged to check for future announcements regarding the celebration of Mark’s life.
