Kimberly VanGundy

August 8, 1960 — December 15, 2022

Although on December 15th, 2022, Kimberly Van Gundy, age 62, went to be in the loving arms of her Heavenly Father, her memory will live on through her adoring family and friends.  Kim was born on August 8th 1960 in Columbus, Ohio to Ronald and Dorothy Van Gundy.

She will always be remembered with much love by her four children, Brock (Nicole) Van Gundy, Justin P. Stump, Jacquolene Wiseman, and Annette (Skyler) Cooper.  She was a loving grandmother to her three grandchildren (Alex, Harrison, and Lily’Onna).  She leaves to cherish her memory; her aunt Sondra (Richard) McKnight, brothers Ronald Van Gundy Jr. and Daniel Van Gundy, and a long list of cousins, extended family and friends.

Oftentimes Kim was the sole breadwinner for her household, which often meant she would hold multiple jobs.  The profession that she excelled at was an office administrator.  She had this ability to relate with people regardless of the circumstances.  Rather they needed someone to celebrate a recent accomplishment or lend a compassionate ear, she was there.

Throughout her life, Kim remained connected to her faith.  Kim was an active member of World Harvest Church, where most Sundays she would be in the church choir.  She loved to sing and used her gift to uplift those around her.

Our family was not expecting for Kim’s life to be cut so short.  We are all devastated by this loss and she will be forever missed.  She was born with a naturally sweet and kind soul, a big heart, and a smile that would brighten any room.

Family and Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering on Saturday January 7th anytime from 3-5:30pm at Mount Sterling Masonic Lodge located at 48 N. London Street, Mt. Sterling, OH. 43143.  Pastor Daniel Van Gundy (Kim's Brother) will officiate the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Lighthouse Domestic Violence Shelter of Fairfield County in her honor.  https://www.lancasterlh.org/Donate.html
