Judith A (Lathem) Timmons

Judith A Timmons (Lathem, Yank), 69, of Columbus, passed away on August 30, 2017 in her home surrounded by family in Columbus.

Judy was born in Columbus, OH to Chester H. Lathem and Florence E. Gamache on March 10, 1948 as the youngest of six. She grew up in the Moneyback area of Columbus and attended Franklin Heights High School. She spent several years working at the Universal Processing Co. before moving to the United States Post Office from which she retired after 20+ years of dedicated service. She was an avid gardener, volunteer, and world traveler, but first and foremost, she was a mother, living her life for her children.

Judy is preceded in death by her father, Chester; mother, Florence; and her brothers, Donald and Daniel Lathem.

She is survived by her daughter Laurie (Russ) Kline, Commercial Point; son Derek (LeeAnn) Yank, Columbus; daughter Stephanie Yank, Columbus; Sisters, Janet (Eldon) Malone, Mary Lou (James) Siders brother, David (Betty) Lathem; grandchildren, Rusty Kline, Taylor Yank and Alex Yank.

A Memorial Celebration will be held in her daughter’s home at 108 Yukon Dr. Commercial Point, OH on September 2, 2017 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.
