Joseph W. Allen Sr., was born January 14, 1937 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Dallas and Daisy Allen, Sr. Preceded him in death daughter Virginia Allen. Departed this life August 9, 2015, at his residence. He attended Columbus Public Schools. He was a retired employee of the Construction Industries. He leave to mourn his loss: son Joseph W. Allen Jr.; sisters Ola Bibb, Daisy Wilson, Ruby Williams, Gracie McBroom and Deborah Western; brothers Pastor Calvin C. Allen and Rev. Carl W. Allen Sr.. He had many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Special friends Angela Jenkins, Ernestine Jenkins and Michael Burton.
A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Monday at the Chapel of Edwards Funeral Service where Family will accept friends from 10:00 AM until time of service.
