John was born February 22, 1950 in Chatam, Ohio to John Thomas Sorg Sr. and Frances Pearl Dye. He is survived by his Daughter Monica and sister Nora E. Sorg. He is preceded by both of his parents, and three sisters Carol A. Sorg, Barbara L. Sorg, and Susan K. Sorg.
