John Jenkins

John Jenkins, 56 of Newark, Ohio passed away peacefully into heaven July 8, 2019 while surrounded by family at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.

John, a song writer, poet, musician, performer and vocalist was often referred to as " Johnny Jam". John, very talented,  absolutely loved to express his poetry and touch lives through music. John was full of life with a passion for music, family, outdoors and the Lord. A true family man that would help anyone in need. Born with a true heart of gold.
John was born November 21, 1962 in Lancaster, Ohio to Willis Jenkins and Ruth (Binion) Aeby.

John is survived by his companion of 10 years, Catherine Belanger of Newark, Ohio, Parents, Willis Jenkins of Newark, Ohio and Ruth (Binion) Aeby of Hebron, Ohio, many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and cousins.

John is preceded in death by his sister Tami Sue Harris whom he adored

Honoring John's wishes, No funeral service will be held. The family will announce a celebration of life for John at a future date.
