He was born July 8, 1953 in Portsmouth, Ohio to James Edward Mitchell and Laveria Jordan Shover.
Survived by son, Tracy Kimberly Mitchell; daughter, Melissa Randy Robinette; 8 grandchildren; mother; sisters, Sandra Ken Tibbs and Julia Sam Lees; brother, Jeffrey Shover; significant other, Chris Casper.
A service will be held 7 PM Saturday at the Chapel of EDWARDS FUNERAL SERVICE, 1166 Parsons Ave., Where family will receive friends from 6 till 7 PM
