James Paul Gemperline, 87, passed away suddenly Saturday October 15 at the Southern Ohio Medical Center. James was born August 27, 1924 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Edward & Nora Gemperline. He was preceeded in death by his wife of 50+ yrs, Patricia Gemperline. He is surivived by Children; Joseph, Mary Edward White, Patrick Sarah, and Joan, 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, and nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother Robert. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM Thursday at St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Lancaster, Ohio with interment to follow in St. Mary?s Cemetery, Lancaster, OH. Family will receive friends prior to the Mass beginning at 10:00AM Thursday.
