James Orville Copley (Cope) born in Wayne County, West Virginia. Resided in Ashville, Ohio. James was born February 13, 1938 and passed June 25, 2021
James is survived by his loving wife Irene, daughter Rhoda Scase, sister; Ellen (Ernie) Mack, brother; Chester Warden, grandchildren; Brittany (Mike) Cobb, Troy Bowen, step-daughter Debbie Phillips, many more grandchildren and multiple great-grandchildren, Special friend Tom Box and family, many nieces, nephews and friends.
James is preceded in death by parents, many brothers and sisters, his late wife Wilma and step-daughter Charlotte Jordan.
James retired from C.J. Hughes Construction Company where he laid gas lines. He enjoyed trimming trees, gardening, bluegrass music festivals, hunting, spending time with friends & family and dogs Itsy & Scrappy. Special Thanks to Fairhope of Lancaster Hospice Services.
A Funeral Service will be held Friday, July 2, 2021 at 1PM at the chapel of Edwards Funeral Service, 1166 Parsons Ave where family will receive guests from 11am to 1pm Time of service. Burial in Jackson Township Cemetery, Pickaway County.
