Iris (Powers) Colemire of Columbus, Ohio was called to the Lord on 3/18/2024. She is survived by her husband David Colemire and 3 Sons Isaac Nance (Ann), Christopher Nance (Tori), Randy Nance. Iris has 13 Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren. Nephews Mike, George, Charles, Joseph, Thomas, Gerard, Johnathon. Nieces Mary, Emmy. Preceded in death by Parents George Powers, Emma Powers. Brothers George Powers, Thomas Powers. Sister Alice Powers. Nephews Kenneth, William W. & William. Great-Granddaughter Kahlia.

Iris served her Country in the U.S Army as a Nurse during Vietnam. After her Military career she went back to school for nursing and earned another degree and graduated Valedictorian. During this time she was raising 3 sons. Iris was very knowledgeable in the health field and would help anyone no matter what their problems were. She will be missed very much by family and friends. There will be no funeral services at this time. She will be buried at the VA National Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio. After confirmation she will have a military service performed in her honor.
