Hollice William Taylor was born Sunday November 29th, 1946, to James and Francita Taylor in Urbancrest, Ohio. He was the 3rd oldest out of all 5 children. He grew up in Urbacrest and attended Grove City High School. He enjoyed fishing and had a love for basketball and football. But most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. He worked and retired from the city of Columbus as a truck driver.
Hollice passed away on Tuesday, February 6th, 2024, at the age of 77, in the comfort of his own home. He passed away with his loving and devoted wife by his side. He is proceeded in death by his parents James and Francita Taylor, his brothers James Taylor Jr. Walt Lee Taylor, sister Katherine Evans, grandson Brenden Phillips, sister in law Rosa Jordan and brother in law John Bivens Sr. and James Harris Sr.
He met the love of his life, Olivia Bivens in the 60's. They later married on December 11th 1970, for a wonderful 54 years. He is survived by his wife Olivia Taylor. Together they have 4 wonderful children Donetta (mark) Williams, Juan (Joliet) Bivens, Makin(Ashley) Felder, And John(Ashley) Bivens Jr. He is also survived by sister Patricia Turner, 6 Sister in laws and 3 brother in laws, 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Along with a host of nieces and nephews and other extended family.
He accepted the truth and was baptized in the 1980's. His love for Jehovah was evident for many years as he served as an elder in Galloway congregation. During this time, He gained many friends but also a special family Kevin and Anita Parrish.
