Gloria J Palmer

Private viewing was held Saturday February 11,2017 at Edward Funeral Services Parsons Ave Columbus, Oh for Ms. Gloria "Jeannie" Palmer-Dixon 59, formerly of Youngstown, who passed away Friday February 10,2017 at her home.
Ms. Dixon was born January 27, 1958 in Youngstown a daughter of the late Willie Palmer and Susie Mae Hunter Dixon.
Gloria was a graduate from North High School in Youngstown. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Penn Education. In 1995 she founded the Women for Women Entrepreneur Program. In 2015 she received her diploma as a Medical Billing Specialist from Stratford Career Institute.
Gloria had a passion for helping others. She enjoyed quilting, fishing, and writing just to name a few. Gloria loved God as her family meant everything to her. She loved collecting clocks and her favorite saying was "Time Waits for No One".
Gloria leaves to cherish in her memories her loved children Susan Dixon and Gerald Carter both of Columbus. Five grandchildren; Richard L Campbell, DiaZanell Dixon, Dezire Dixon, DeZinty Dixon and Gerald K Cater all of Columbus. She also leaves one brother Robert Dixon/Dickson of Youngstown,Oh.
Proceeding her in death were two brothers; Roscoe and Willie Dixon, and three sisters Sally Carter, Mary Ann Kenny, and Annie Cora Gilbert.
