Frank Gordon Adkins passed away on Friday, January 9th at the age of 94 at home with his family at his side.
He was born on July 15, 1931 in Goodwill, WV and lived there until he went into the United States Army where he served his country during the Korean War. He then moved to Columbus, OH where he met Alma and married. They lived a simple, but happy life. He loved his family and treasured them.

There are numerous men from the south side of Columbus who remember him fondly as a positive, Christian influence in their lives. He also was active in his church, Parsons Baptist, for many years.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Alma Adkins, parents Thomas and Beulah Adkins, siblings Ernest, Howard, Katherine and Lillian, son, Darrell Wampler and granddaughter Shelly Wampler.
