Floyd Louis Nearhood, 83, passed away on March 4, 2017 in Columbus, Ohio.
Floyd was born on December 6, 1934 in Saint Joseph, Missouri to the late Willis Nearhood and Francis Tollard (Bromley).
Floyd severed in the United States Army for over 20+ years.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife Henriette Marie Nearhood; Son Michael Eugene Nearhood and a grandchild.
He is survived by Son Steven Wayne Nearhood; Daughter Patricia Lynn Nott; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 8 nephews and 4 nieces.
A graveside service will be held Thursday March 30, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Dayton National Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio.
