Farland Monroe Dindy Jr.

September 20, 1997 — May 23, 2019

Our beloved Farland Monroe (Scooboo) Dindy Jr was born on September 20th 1997 to Connie F Mack and Farland M Dindy Sr. in Columbus Ohio where he attended Leawood Elementary School, Gilcrease Middle School in Tulsa, Oklahoma followed by Seaworth Academy in Oklahoma City, Ok. Once he finished with school Scooboo moved back to his hometown Columbus, Ohio where he successfully completed the Columbus Career Readiness Class and began work at the Columbus Greater Convention Center and LGS Staffing. Scooboo loved football and basketball. He even played football for the Gilcrease T-Birds and his favorite basketball team was the OKC Thunders. Scooboo loved listening to music. His favorite rappers were Lil Boosie and YM Melly. He also loved his mother’s cooking. There wasn’t a thing she couldn’t cook that he wouldn’t eat. A gathering of people made him happy including family functions and walks in the park. Scooboo was born with a blood disorder known as Sickle Cell Anemia. This illness required him to spend most of his time in the hospital. Due to his illness he was limited to do most things that he loved. Despite being very ill Scooboo continued to enjoy life as he knew it. Scooboo is what you would call rambunctious. Scooboo did what he felt was right in his heart and had a very strong mind. Scooboo was known to have a great sense of humor. Even with him being sick with Sickle Cell Scooboo still fought a tremendous fight and remained full of life. There are many words to describe him. Some would be a loving father, amazing, unique, determined and go getter. Most of all Scooboo was a soilder and a Sickle Cell Warrior and he will always be loved and admired for his strength.

Scooboo is survived by his daughter Kamiya Collins; Parents Connie Mack (Ronny Lauderdale), Father Farland Dindy Sr; Sisters Khalilah Mack and Shaquetta Mack; Brothers Alteric Mack, Quinzell Mack, Da’Juan Mack, John Colley, Ray’Don Culverson; Nieces and Nephews; Nahasia Mack, Justyn Mack, Nasira Mack, Nasir Mack, Cannon Colley and Amira Mack; Aunts and Uncles; Howard Mack, Anthony Mack, Antoinette Mack, Dora Smith and Marilyn Dindy; a host of relatives and friends.
