Mrs. Esther Victoria Collier

Esther Victoria Collier, aka Vicky. Born January 17, 1966, in East Patchogue, NY. First born to Agnes
“Ace” Collier. At the age of 6, Vicky moved to Mount Clement, Michigan where she grew up and became
loved by anyone who knew her. After graduating Mount Clement High School, Vicky started her career
in Nursing. She began taking classes and studying to be a registered nurse. While taking classes Esther
became a Nursing Assistant and caring for seniors. Vicky enjoyed being a caregiver but in her spare time
she also had a passion for fashion and shopping. In 1986, Vicky welcomed her first born and her journey
to motherhood began. As free a spirit as she was, she had many dreams, and ambition. So, in 1997
Vicky, with 2 boys now, moved to Arizona. She continued being a caregiver and made Arizona her home
for just one year. Now, Vicky realized her heart and soul was longing for the Big Apple, NYC. Soon after
arriving to New York, Vicky made The Bronx her home and soon after that Vicky gave birth to two more
children (both girls). Now she is a proud mother of 4. As life does, it threw Vicky a few curve balls, but
Vicky never gave up and remained a resident of The Bronx for 23 years. In 2021 Vicky was diagnosed
with Pancreatic Cancer. She uprooted her life in The Bronx and relocated to Columbus, Ohio for
treatment. Vicky remained unfazed, she kept her faith with God, and chose to continue fighting until the
very end. And surely, she did. On January 10, 2024 @8:29pm Vicky was called home to continue her
journey with our father, God. As we celebrate her life, we also celebrate her love, generosity, and her
beautiful spirit.
