ESDA GOVAN WASHINGTON SR., 85, passed away on Saturday January 3, 2009 He was born February 16, 1923 in Okmulgee, OK to the late Alex and Sarah McMillon Washington
He is survived by five children, Maxine Bussey, Amanda Washington, Esda G. Washington Jr. Kelly, Bertram Washington Colinda, and Lydia Washington, twelve Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Polly Ann Washington, brother, Edwin Washington and sister, Mildred Johnson.
A service will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday Jan 7 at the Woodland Terrace Congregation, Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witness, 2500 McCutcheon Rd. where family will receive friends starting at Noon. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Edwards Funeral Service. 614-444-3200
