Elsa Victoria Pizarro

Elsa Victoria Pizarro, age 71, passed away Friday, September 20, 2019 at Riverside Hospital with her loving family by her side.  A native of Lima, Peru, Elsa was born November 17, 1947 to the late Pedro & Ofelia Barredo Abad.  Elsa was a homemaker; her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. Elsa was a devoted mother and grandmother who sacrificed for her family all her life.  She enjoyed playing bingo, the lottery and listening to Barry White, Barbara Streisand and other musical artists.

Elsa leaves behind her three loving children, Elizabeth (Carlos) Hanke, Elsa (Thomas) Santiago, Gonzalo (Rebeca) Pizarro, Jr; seven grandchildren, Gonzalo Pizarro, III, Brianna Canaval, Samira Santiago, Camila Pizarro, Marcelo Pizarro, Carlos Hanke, Gabriella Santiago.  She also leaves behind several extended family members and a host of friends.

A service to honor the life of Mrs. Pizarro will be held 2:00PM, Friday, September 27, 2019 at Edwards Funeral Service, 1166 Parsons Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43206.  The family will greet friends from 1:00PM until the time of service.
