Mr. Edward Eugene Gasaway

Edward E. Gasaway Jr. 50, passed away unexpectedly December 27, 2023 at OSU hospital.
Ed was born on October 25, 1973 in Bellaire, Ohio to Edward E. Gasaway and Linda Cordery.
Ed was a graduate of Bridgeport High School 1992 where he received an All-State basketball
player award. He went to West Liberty College where he received an associates Degree in
1994.
He started his career as a laborer at Turf Care in 1994 where he stayed for 23 years.
He moved to Columbus Ohio where he worked at T-force freight in March 2021, where he was a
loyal member to the Teamster Local Union No. 413.
He loved to go camping, fishing, gardening and watching his favorite sports teams while eating
his favorite wings.
Ed is survived by his daughter (Emily Gasaway) Marietta Ohio. Edward E. Gasaway (father)
Martin Ferry Ohio. Bessie Littleton (sister) of Martin Ferry Ohio.
Ed is preceded in death by Linda Mesko ( mother) of Martin Ferry Ohio, Terri Littleton
(stepfather), Doris Cordery (grandmother) of Martin Ferry Ohio, and Sarah Cordery ( great
grandmother) of Bridgeport Ohio.
There will be a celebration of life or donations for Ed at a later date at the convenience of his
family.
