Dianna Sue Woods passed away on April 11, 2026 at Licking Memorial Hospital. She graduated from Newark Sr. High School, Class of 1959. She attended The Ohio State University and Newark Secretary College. She also earned continuing education at Brevard Community college in Titusville, Florida.

She retired from Department of Jobs and Family Services of Licking County, working as a caseworker. She also worked at Roper and the JF Kennedy Space Center in Florida. In Hawaii, she worked at First National Bank of Honolulu and University Medical Center in Kailua.

She was the daughter of Edgar Lee Johnson and Marjorie Jean Hughes. She is also survived by her children Marcy Hopkins, Mia Mitchell, and Carrie Woods; grandchildren; Corinne Beary, Joseph Davis and great-grandchildren, including Isaiah Bryslan, Taya Bryslan.  She is survived by her siblings: Karen Serfozo, Terrie Baker, Todd Johnson, Tracy Johnson, Tyler Johnson, and Trent Johnson. She was preceded in death by her sibling, Timothy Johnson.
