Diana Lee Lacey

Diana Lee Lacey, a beloved wife and mother, passed away on August 9, 2025, in Columbus, Ohio, at the age of 54. Born on December 12, 1970, in Washington Court House, Ohio, Diana was known for her kind and loving nature, as well as her generous spirit.

Throughout her life, Diana dedicated herself to her family and prided herself on being a wonderful housewife and mother. She is fondly remembered by her family, not only for her nurturing character but for the joy she brought into their lives. It was love at first sight when she met her husband, Richard Lacey, and together they built a loving home filled with warmth and laughter.

Diana leaves behind her husband, Richard Lacey, and their children:  Johnathan (Rachel)  Lacey, Dustin Penwell Derrick Lacey, Richard Lacey II, Jack Lacey, and daughter Wynonna Lacey.  She  also leaves behind 20 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Eddie Penwell and Shirley Penwell, and her son, Dustin Lacey,  Grandson Thomas Christman III (T.J.), Heather Penwell, Tracy Johnson, and Michelle Allen whose memory lives on in the hearts of all who knew them.

In her free time, Diana enjoyed playing on her phone, watching television, and engaging with her computer.  She enjoyed taking her kids to the park. Her interests and hobbies reflected her joyful spirit and her desire to connect with both the world and her family.

A visitation in her honor will take place on August 23, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Calvary Apostolic Church, located at 2551 W. Schrook, Westerville, Ohio 43081.

Diana's loving personality and caring heart made a lasting impact on everyone around her. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the memories of her family and friends.
