Diana Susan (Hix) Franklin

Diana Susan (Hix) Franklin, 61, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at St. Ann’s Hospital.



Born on February 14, 1962, Diana resided in Gahanna, Ohio with her beloved husband Christopher Franklin. They enjoyed making memories through special outings and adventures, with a strong and happy love for each other.



With her joyful spirit and beautiful smile, Diana was known for her enthusiasm and love of life. Her happiest times involved music, dancing, travel, and the beach as well as celebrating holidays with her family. She was a 1980 graduate of Grove City High School and enjoyed several successful careers over the years, where she excelled at perfecting the details. Her sense of style, her resilience, and her deep Christian faith will all be remembered.



Diana will be missed by her cherished family and friends. Survivors include her husband, Christopher Franklin; her father and step-mother Pearl and Ruby Hix; her children, Jennifer (Peter D) Mayer, Kyle (Ashley) McNamara, and Brianna McNamara (Paul Schulte); step-sons Isac Franklin, Brett Franklin, and Drew Franklin; grandchildren Bryden St. John, Bethany St. John, Colton McNamara, Charli Schulte, and Camryn Schulte; siblings Kevin Hix and April (Hix) Lukacsko; her adoring uncles, aunts, and cousins; and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Jane Hix.



A Celebration of Life will be held for Diana’s friends and family at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at Gahanna Sanctuary; with Rev. Eileen Hix officiating the memorial service.
