Dennis Jay Talbott, 55, was born December 22, 1970, in Galion, Ohio. He passed away peacefully on Friday, September 25, 2026, after an extended illness, surrounded by family and friends at OhioHealth Hospice House, formerly Kobacker House, in Columbus, Ohio.

Dennis was a longtime business owner and the owner of the staffing company Strategia Solutions.

Dennis had a lifelong love of sports. One of his cherished memories was helping coach his son Nicholas’s youth baseball team and sharing his enthusiasm for the game with him.

His love of sports also inspired his passion for photography. What began as a personal interest grew into an accomplished amateur photography career, with his work appearing in numerous publications and venues, including Sports Illustrated.

Dennis is survived by his longtime companion, Melissa Seidel Bedolla; his son, Nicholas Talbott of Boca Raton, Florida; his mother and stepfather, Charmaine and Christopher Bartlett of Mansfield, Ohio; his sister, Aimee Talbott of Tampa, Florida; and his aunt and uncle, Linda and Gary Epley of Galion, Ohio. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce R. Talbott, and his sister, Ryanne E. Talbott.

Dennis’s family is deeply grateful to the staff of OhioHealth Hospice House for the exceptional care, kindness, compassion, and comfort they provided to Dennis and his loved ones throughout his final days.

No formal funeral service will be held at this time. A gathering to remember Dennis will be held at a later date, with details to be shared when they are available.
