David Alan Lipp

David A. Lipp, 72, of Dublin, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on April 19, 2016. He was a graduate of The Ohio State University and a devoted member of the OSU Marching Band and Alumni Band. David was a professor at Southern Illinois University and East Tennessee State University before going on to co-found Market Horizons, a consulting firm in Jacksonville, Florida. He was preceded in death by his former wife Carol, and his beloved companion
Barbara Larkins. David is survived by a brother, Douglas (Elizabeth) Lipp, sister, Ann (Caleb) Sickles, daughter, Emily (Chris) Wilson; two grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Contributions in David's memory may be made to the "Dot the "i" Marching Band Endowment Fund" through the OSU Marching Band website. There will be no funeral service but a celebration of his life at a later date.
