Sarah and Danny Moore gave birth to their first-born son on a summer day, Sunday August 14,1977 in Newark, NJ whom they named Danny Delton Moore Jr. aka “Nort” Unexpectedly, Danny Jr passed from this life Wednesday, January 27, 2021 in the comfort of his home in Columbus, OH.
In his childhood years he attended Clinton Hill Community Center, Hawthorne Avenue school briefly and Morton St Elementary where he graduated and spend his high school years as a bulldog at Malcolm X Shabazz Highschool. All located in Newark NJ. While living most of his life in New Jersey he was employed by Bell Atlantic, Shop-Rite, Allied Group in Union NJ and ended his days as a Shipping Lead at Fluvitek in Columbus Oh.
Danny was a wonderful Son, father, brother, uncle and friend who took pleasure in making his parents happy/proud of him. He enjoyed making people happy and full of laughter. His children he loved dearly and always did the best he knew to show his love for them. Danny Jr. was a very creative Artist as Music and Painting was his go to. He was a person with a kind heart on the job and off. He enjoyed doing TIC TOKS during his quarantine days as he shared comedy and laughter for all to enjoy. Young and All Danny Jr also believed in Jesus Christ. Gods only begotten son as we feel he was able to make peace before his transition of life.
Danny Jr. leaves behind to cherish his memories with his mother, Sarah Ann Moore; Father Danny Delton Moore Sr.; Only sister Kelly Ann Moore (to be Brother-n Law) Duane Vanson Reid. His first-born son Tyheed Zakee Moore, his only baby girl Danaye Sha’Vell Covington (his twin Push); first granddaughter Promise Nychelle Moore; Grandmother Calrogers Moore; Nieces Kelice Danelle Mecca Moore; Kendra Abby Moore-Reid; to-be nieces Keearah and Ahzarra; only nephew Jerome Vanson Reid and Fiancee of 2 years Ashley Christina Whyte; A host of Aunts, uncles, super close cousins and friends. He also leaves his memories to his day one Best friends Kaz, Swan, Kahlid, Bubba, Jabar and the late Steve.
He is pre-deceased by his grandparents Annie Catherine Meadows, Charlie Hazell Meadows and Lee Moore Sr.
A Homegoing Service will be held Tuesday February 9, 2021 at 3 PM at the Chapel of Edwards Funeral Service, where family will receive guests from 2PM. The service at 3 PM will be livestreamed at Edwards Funeral Service Facebook page .
