Carl James Townsend, 75, passed away on June 8, 2013. He was born to the late Rufus and Ocie Townsend on January 11, 1938 in Clay, West Virginia. He is survived by sons; Allen Dwight and James E. Townsend, both of Charleston, W.Va.; Daughter, Doris E. Townsend of Charleston, W.Va. and Step-Daughter, Jackie Kidd of East Bank, W.Va.; Brothers, Charles and Rufus Townsend; Sisters, Leanoa Gillis and Pearl Duesenberry.
