Barbara Juanita Powell

Barbara Powell, lovingly called "Mom", "Mamaw", and "Sissy", went home to be with our Lord, Saturday, November 29th, 2025 at Licking Memorial Hospital. She believed in God, that you should work hard for a living, and you should be nice to those less fortunate. Barb was a strong woman who raised her four daughters, filling the role of both mom and dad. She enjoyed watching Ohio State football, professional basketball, and visiting with friends and family, including morning coffee with her friend Patty and football with Jamie. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Eloise Bailey, brothers, Roy, Dean, and Jeff Bailey, her two infant children, niece Barbara Burton, and beloved son-in -law, Chris Stangle. She is survived by her children, Dawn Priest (Doug), Dani Lytle (Dave), Debbie Stiles, and Darcy Sickles (Ivan). Her grandchildren, Christina Smith (Chris), Branden Stangle, Emily Aplomb, Sarah Lytle, Natalie Stiles, Jeffrey Stiles (Alexis), Lily Orders, Hayley Barkett (Matt), and Ethen Sickles. Her great-grandchildren, Landon Smith, Logan Smith, and Adalyn Lamer. Her sisters, Brenda Bailey, Mary Clark (Rick), and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She will also be missed by Jeff Stiles (father of Jeffrey and Natalie) and Jay Orders (father of Lily). 

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, December 5th at 6 p.m., at Sportsman's Club Golf Course in Johnstown, and a private graveside service will be held on a later date.
