Arthur Clinton Linton Jennings, born on August 11, 1966, sadly passed away on July 29, 2025, at the Ohio State Hospital. He leaves behind a cherished legacy marked by his vibrant spirit, love for cooking, and the joyful laughter he brought into the lives of those around him.

Arthur was a proud graduate of East Moore High School, class of 1982, where he began to cultivate the flamboyant and outgoing personality that would define him throughout his life. His passion for cooking flourished as he became a skilled chef, delighting family and friends alike with his culinary creations. Whether it was hosting large gatherings or intimate family dinners, Arthur's kitchen was always filled with warmth, laughter, and the enticing aroma of his delicious dishes.

Everyone who knew Arthur will remember his infectious smile, courageous heart, and sweet, empathetic nature. He truly was the life of the party, lighting up any room he entered with his enthusiasm and charm. His love of singing often filled the air, a perfect accompaniment to the meals he so lovingly prepared. He had a unique ability to make everyone feel special and valued, leaving everlasting memories etched in the hearts of many.

In his final moments, Arthur remained surrounded by the love of his family. He is deeply mourned by his beloved children, Gabbrille Poindexter (Tyre), Dezarae Johnson, and Rusten Johnson. Arthur’s siblings, Joseph Roberts (Trudy), Walter Jennings (Helen), Linda Jennings, Deborah Jennings, Rita Sullens (Tommy), and Cynthia Jennings, along with his sister Lisa Jennings-Jones (Michael),  Dereasa Jennings (Sister in law) will miss him dearly and carry his memory forward in their everyday lives. 

Arthur is predeceased by his loving parents, Walter and Washeeola Jennings, and his brother Ronald Jennings. Their guidance and love shaped the remarkable person Arthur became, and though he has joined them, his spirit and influence will continue to be felt by all who loved him. Special friend Tiger and Samantha Johnson.  He leaves behind 11 grandchildren. Arthur leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

As we reflect on Arthur's life, let us remember him not just for the sadness of his passing, but for the joy, love, and laughter he shared so freely. May his legacy of warmth, culinary creativity, and lively spirit continue to inspire those who had the privilege to know him. Rest in peace, dear Arthur; your light will forever shine in our hearts.
