Arlie Bruce Jones

Arlie (Denny) Jones, passed away to be with his Lord and Saviour, on March 9th at the Springfield Regional Medical Center, surronded by his family and friends. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 19 years Winnie and their children. His children, daughter Danyel ( Mike) Cornell and son Scott (Laura) Church. David (Christine) Beach, Sheila (Jeff) Lee and grandchldren, Tyler, James, Brandon, Samantha,Emiley, David, Daniell, Brad, Ashlyl, Breann, Gabriel, Coletin, Kelsey. 6 great grandchildren and several neices and nephews. Special aunt Betty Bennrick and wonderful mother-in-law Betty Stokes. He was a very proud Veteran of the United States Army. Serving in the Viet-naum war from March 17, 1969 to February 5, 1971, He participated in 25 missions over hostile territory. Decorated with 3 Bronze Stars, Purple Heart and many other certificates and awards. His determination and Professionalism brought him through all off his missions successfully He attended Ashford University earning a Bachelor of Science in Buisness Administration. He also earned a degree of Biblical Studies. He was a member of the Masonic Grand lodge of Free Masons of Ohio, he was a member of St. Andrew # 619, also a member of Morning Star #795 and he was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite of the Valley of Dayton. Memorial Service will be March 18th from 1:30-3:30 at the Ohio Masonic Home in the York Rite Building.
