It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Allen James Exel on July 25, 2026.

Allen was born on June 6, 1961, in Fort Dix, New Jersey. He will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, his love of animals, and his passion for fishing and hunting. Allen touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed.

Allen is survived by his mother, Elaine (Hoppe) Exel; his siblings, Wayne Exel, Gary (Michele) Exel, and Christine Pinto; and his children, Angie (Jeriel) Schaefer, Brandon Exel, Keith (Sara) Exel, and Adam Exel; his niece and nephew, and 9 grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Exel.

A service to honor Allen's life will be held at a later date. At this time, the family wishes to celebrate Allen's memory privately and encourages all who were touched by his life to remember him in their own special way.
