Alex Girard James

Alex Girard James was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida went to be with the
Lord, Feb. 21, 2024. He attended elementary, middle, and high school there, where
he loved and played football. After much godly counsel and prayer, he moved to
Columbus, Ohio to work.There he met the mother of his two daughters. He
worked numerous jobs, and with each one, the Lord taught him how to perform
jobs that he had no experience in, but always completed the task with excellence!
People seemed to be drawn to him, but he avoided foolishness. He knew that God
had sent him to Ohio, even though there were challenges; namely, a very difficult
medical diagnosis, which caused him to be in and out of the hospital over the last
two years, yet he was determined to press through and not let the situation, nor
circumstances keep him from taking care of his family, and providing for them.

He leaves to mourn his significant other; Kristal Rochelle Little; his son; Alex, Jr.,
daughters; Alexis, and Alaina. A devoted mother, Brenda James; two sisters;
Crystal Hunt, Rochell James-Lewis. three nephews; Roger II, Jordan, and
Donovan; one niece; Mercy-Grace. Two great uncles; Willie (Marie), Marvin
(Carolyn), an aunt; Judy Long. Two special cousins; Renee Valentin, and Toinette
Long; another special sister; Gail Little and her two sons; Larenz and LaJuan
Lacking. Another special friend; Shantina Evans, Alex, Jr,s’ mother.
Kristal’s mother and father; Donnetta, and Russell. A lifelong friend; Derek
Brooks, aka “Bo”, and Dave Lane, whom he met when he moved to Ohio. There
are many others not mentioned by name, but you know who you are. Thank you
for your friendship, which meant a lot to, not only Alex, but also to his mother and family!
