Adrian Adolf Sims

Adrian “Skip” Sims, 53, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on November 3rd 2025.

Adrian was born April 18th 1972 in Manhattan New York, the son of Ray and Bernice Sims.

Adrian graduated from Bethal High School then attended Virginia State University.

Adrian married YaShica Box on August 13 2021 in Las Vegas. They were married for 4 years..together for 13.

Adrian operated and owned “One day at a time auto body shop”

He especially loved lifting weights, loud music, traveling, loud music, concerts, his family and loud music.

Remaining to cherish Adrian’s memory are spouse, YaShica child, Tavion; step children, Ti-Juan, Tevon, Dontae, Ondray and Shanair; grandchildren, JahSey, Marley, Ondray, Legend, MeloDee and Joi. parent, Bernice; brothers, Raymond, Andre and Robert. sister, Gwendolyn; nieces and nephews, Annylah, Avery and KIng and a plethora of cousins and friends.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 22nd @ Gathering of friends and family at 12pm with a celebration of life to start at 1pm.  Services will be held at Families First Cremation and Burial at Edwards located at 1166 Parsons Ave, Columbus, Ohio 43206
